Tim Biskup + Pink Drink + Hazel's Field

Two paintings by Tim Biskup from a couple of years ago.  Amazing stuff as always.  These were found on ebay.  Check out more Tim Biskup

paintings at www.timbiskup.com ; you'll be in for quite a visual treat.

Oktapodi

French animation school Gobelins' senior class has made a very good animated film.  Oktopodi tells the tale of an octopus desperately trying to rescue his lady.  It's done in cgi.  And unlike other low budget cgi this one doesn't look like a video game cut scene.  I really enjoyed the background design and color styling of the city.

The video can be viewed here:  http://www.mytoons.com/animation/play/18681

Tristan Eaton + Postcards From America

Tristan Eaton has created some really cool "postcards" for his new art show in Brazil:

These were done with spray paint on metal signs.  Very reminiscent of the 1950s style advertisements.  Totally ace.

Scott C. + I am 8 Bit

Artist Scott C. has created "smart" fliers for the upcoming "I am 8-Bit" group art show down in LA, this year.  These look pretty rad.  Check 'em out:

After cutting out and putting together this is what you get:

Craftsmanship and creativity like this should not go unrecognized.  I look forward to more of Scott C.'s work in the future.
